The true cause of heart disease has always been defined in the medical world as high cholesterol. I'm not a Dr. but after researching this in detail I came to find some very interesting facts. Did you know the true cause of heart disease is a high oxidation level of your LDL cholesterol? Yep has nothing to do with high cholesterol. High oxidation levels are caused by poor diet, smoking and drinking alcohol, etc. Recently researchers with National Institute on Aging followed 11,000 people for tens years. In this study they found that those that supplemented with vitamin C and E, beyond what is required by the US RDA, decreased there chances of heart disease by more than half!! Further more they demonstrated less overall deaths from any cause! The surgeon general of the United States declared 68% of all diseases are caused ... full

Personal trainers cypress Texas
Many people throughout the years have heard "you don't need supplements, you can get everything you need from your food" I myself was a firm believer in this until the last year when I started to look into the process all foods go through to make our grocery shelves. I could write a book on the info I have but I will get to the point. Lets start with the early 1900's/ Everyone was growing their crops, everything was make from scratch, no sauce, added condiments, etc. You get the idea. As the years go by the population grows and these farmers cant keep up with the demand. That's when "it" started. People put there heads together and figured up ways to not only speed up the growth process through chemicals and unnatural products, they also cut corners in shipping. To make a bigger ... full

The Importance of the Squat Synergy Fitness Personal trainer in cypress tx
The 'squat' is one of the most popular strengthening exercises performed by both elite athletes and the average joe
at the gym. When they squat, athletes and people recovering from injuries flex their hips, knees, and ankles simultaneously,
thus activating all the key muscles in the legs, including the hamstrings, glute, quads, and calf muscles,
as well as low-back muscles which stabilize the upper body.
Because squatting can both strengthen and enhance the coordination of all these muscle groups, it is a compound,
functional exercise which offers lots of benefits for such a simple movement. Indeed, research has linked squat
training with improvements in sprint velocity, vertical jumping height, and horizontal jumping distance, attributes
which are important over a wide range of ...full

Although some old fitness fictions, such as "no pain, no gain” and "spot
reducing” are fading fast, plenty of popular exercise misconceptions
still exist. Here are some of the most common exercise myths as well as
the not-so-common facts based on current exercise research.
Exercise Myth 1. You Will Burn More Fat If You Exercise Longer at a Lower Intensity.
The most important focus in exercise and fat weight control is not the
percentage of exercise energy coming from fat but the total energy cost,
or how many calories are burned during the activity. The faster you
walk, step or run, for example, the more calories you use per minute.
However, high-intensity exercise is difficult to sustain if you are just
beginning or returning to exercise, so you may not exercise very long ... full

THE HYPOGLYCEMIC DIET. THE NATURAL CURE FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS.
posted by Synergy Fitness at 21:39 || under Diet
If your looking for a personal trainer in Houston who knows about the hypoglycemic diet look no further.
What is known as the hypoglycemic diet should really be called the
"Natural Diet”. This is the diet that humans have consumed over the
millions of years to which our digestive system has adapted. The
"Natural Diet” is natural to the individual only and may be different
from one person to another. Nordic European people who have consumed
milk as part of their diet in their ancestry may have better tolerance
to cow's milk, than those people whose ancestry was not exposed to that
kind of milk as in Asia or Africa. Southern European with a long history
of alcohol consumption are more tolerant of alcohol than people for
whom alcohol was never part in the hereditary diet, such as Australian
aborigines.
